Welcome to Esanaa. Esanaa is a choir management platform designed to help choirs organize members, manage repertoire, track attendance, schedule events, and communicate effectively. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Esanaa's services, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using Esanaa, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Esanaa, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Esanaa on behalf of a choir organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Service Description

Esanaa provides the following features and services:

• Member Management: Centralized directory to manage contact information, voice parts (SATB), and member status within your choir organization.
• Song & Lyrics Library: Digital repository for sheet music, lyrics, and practice audio tracks accessible by all choir members.
• Attendance Tracking: Tools to easily record and monitor attendance for rehearsals and events to maintain discipline and track participation.
• Event Scheduling: Shared calendar for rehearsals and performances with automated RSVP and reminder functionality.
• Roles & Permissions: System to assign roles like Director, Section Leader, or Treasurer with specific access levels and responsibilities.
• Communication: Instant announcements and group messaging to keep everyone in the loop without chaos.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of Esanaa, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify Esanaa immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Choir directors and members are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and ensuring that all data associated with their choir organization is kept up to date.

5. Choir Data and Content

You are solely responsible for the data and content you upload to Esanaa, including:

• Member information and contact details
• Song library content, including lyrics, sheet music, and audio files
• Attendance records and event information
• Communications and announcements

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and use any content you provide through the Service. You agree not to upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others or violates any applicable laws.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Esanaa to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Esanaa's systems or other users' accounts
• Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harass others
• Misuse member data or violate the privacy of choir members
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service

7. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you upload to Esanaa. By uploading content, you grant Esanaa a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Esanaa Platform: The Esanaa platform, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Esanaa and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Esanaa platform without our express written permission.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion features in the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• We are required to do so by law
• You fail to pay any fees owed (if applicable)

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account and data, though we will provide reasonable notice and opportunity to export your data when possible.

Esanaa provides the Service "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Esanaa after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
